Europe - June 1994

My friend Seth and I drove through Europe in 1994 after taking delivery of my car. We headed from Munich, through Switzerland to Italy, visiting Milan, Florence, San Gimignano, Sienna, Rome and Pisa. We then spent time in Monte Carlo and Cannes before heading back to Germany and our return flight. Lots of pictures of buildings, less of people and almost none of us. Man, did we ever eat well and drive fast.

	This is a rare sight, believe me. Even Seth couldn't turn down free Remy and champagne.
	The Roman Forum fascinated me. I loved walking among the toppled ruins and looking at the bustling, modern city that enveloped them. I've got to go back and have a proper picnic there.
	This bit of sculpture in the courtyard was quite dramatic. I think it was the Valentino store in Rome, but it may have been Versace.
