BMW M3 Engine Failure Forum
Mission Statement
It is time for owners to organize and pressure BMW to give M3 owners what is fair:
- Replacement of all at-risk engines with new, factory-assembled engines
- Extension of manufacturer's warranty to at least 7 years/150,000 miles
- Reasonable damages to cover expenses, inconvenience, loaner car, etc.
- Optionally, have BMW buy back the cars for what we paid, including taxes
The point is not to try to damage BMW's reputation or to get out of owning the M3, but to push BMW towards a fair and prompt handling of this problem. I, for one, love the car and hope to drive a safe, reliable version of it for many years.
